Series consist of materials created for the promotion of Douglas College programs, services, events, and achievements. These materials were created by various successive internal offices tasked specifically with shaping the College's image, producing advertisements, coordinating with faculties and departments, drafting speeches, and documenting events. The series includes brochures, flyers, posters, publications, correspondence, news releases, memoranda, meeting agendas and minutes, course information, receipts and invoices, and much more.

Douglas College Flyers - 1970s-1990s

File consists of flyers and other promotional materials produced by the Public Information Office. These include brochures from graduation ceremonies (1976, 1982, 1983, and 1984), invitations to graduation ceremonies (1978-1981 and 1983), a program guide for the Douglas College Foundation's spring 1994 awards ceremony, and a program from the official opening of the Amelia Douglas Gallery in 1992. Also included in this file are a number of flyers advertising various programs, including: Business Management, Fire Science, Chairside Dental Assisting, Accounting, Continuing Education in Dentistry, and more.

File consists of flyers and other promotional materials advertising programs, workshops, and events at the College during the fall 1977 semester. Some of these include: the Child Care Worker Program, the Retail Merchandising Program, Supervisory Management in Health Care Institutions, credit courses for nurses, Audio-Visual Techniques for Fire/Police Training Officers, Death and Dying, Bacteriology, conversational language courses, Women's Studies courses, and many more. Some of these programs were advertised during the fall 1977 semester but did not take place until winter 1978.

Some of these include: Assertiveness Training for Nurses, Cope With Your Cough, the Musical Instrument Repair Technician program, Parenting Skills for Adopting Parents, a non-fiction writing workshop, and more.

File consists of flyers and other promotional materials advertising programs, workshops, and events at the College during the spring 1978 semester. Some of these include: Introduction to Philosophy, Correctional Counselling, Institutional Correction Management, Safety in the 70's (an auto-safety course), the Fire Science Certificate Program, Navigation for Private Pilots, Demographic Data Collection, Pesticide Dispenser Certification, Counselling the Chemically-Dependent, Teaching Adults, Fostering the Teenager, and courses for nurses.

File consists of flyers and other promotional materials produced by the Public Information Office. These include, but are not limited to: a program from the opening of the Newton Centre campus (November 1979), materials related to the official opening of the New Westminster campus (March 1983), admissions newsletters, a fall 1986 graduation program, Women's Centre programming (March 1984), and brochures from the Music Department's showcases (1983). This file also includes brochures for programs during the 1971-72 school year and the fall 1982 semester. The 1971-72 brochures are related to counselling services, physical education, fashion design, construction management, continuing education, and accounting. The 1982 brochures are related to criminology, modern languages, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and the humanities.
